2022 NC State Fair Lunch Race

We went back again this year to take advantage of the NC State Fair Lunch Pass program. This time, we made sure to be super prepared, determined that we would beat the system yet again, even though we barely did the last time. 😛 Before leaving the house, we printed out a map of all the recommended food stops for this year’s best offerings, studied the list and agreed on the top picks for the day.

เดือนตุลาปีนี้เรากลับไปเยือนงาน State Fair ประจำปี ของรัฐ North Carolina กันอีกครั้ง คราวนี้เตรียมพร้อมกันไปอย่างเต็มที่เพื่อกลับไปร่วมท้าชิงโปรแกรมบัตรผ่านประตูมื้อกลางวันที่เคยลองไปเมื่อสามปีก่อนกันอีกครั้ง 😛 ก่อนออกจากบ้านเราปรินท์แผนที่ของสถานที่จัดงานออกมา พร้อมทั้งศึกษาเมนูต่างๆที่ตั้งใจจะไปลองกัน แถมเตรียมเส้นทางการเดินไว้อย่างเสร็จสรรพ

We left super early, because we planned to grab street parking so that we could avoid paying the $20 fee. And we happened to be extremely lucky to nab a free spot that was as close as we could be from the entrance at Gate 1. The Lunch Pass admission starts at 11:30 am and we got there with 20 minutes to spare. When we got in line, there was only a couple of people ahead of us. As luck would have it, the staff lady decided she’d be nice to us and let us in a whopping 10 minutes early! 🥳

เราออกจากบ้านกันแบบเผื่อเวลาไว้อย่างเต็มที่ ตั้งใจไปวนหาที่จอดรถฟรีข้างถนนเพื่อที่จะได้ไม่ต้องเสียค่าที่จอด 20 เหรียญใกล้ๆงาน ไปถึงโชคดีได้ที่จอดฟรีใกล้มาก เดินไปไม่กี่นาทีก็ถึงประตูทางเข้าเบอร์หนึ่งที่เค้าจัดไว้สำหรับโปรแกรมบัตรผ่านมื้อกลางวันโดยเฉพาะ ไปเข้าแถวยืนรอต่อคิวตั้งแต่ 11 โมง 10 นาที นึกว่าจะต้องรออีก 20 ถึงเวลาเปิด แต่ปรากฎว่าโชคดีซ้ำสอง คุณป้าที่ขายตั๋วเกิดใจดียอมให้เข้าก่อนเวลาตั้ง 10 นาทีเต็มๆ 🥳

With $20 out and lunch passes in hand, we started off on our mission with full confidence! 😎

จ่ายตังค์ไปยี่สิบเหรียญได้บัตรผ่านประตูแล้วก็ได้เวลาเริ่มดำเนินการ 😎

First stop, right beyond the gate, we headed over to Oak City Fish & Chips for their Salmon Pop, which happens to be the winner of this year’s Media’s Choice Best New Food. We got there right before a big crowd so the wait wasn’t too long. To be honest, I thought the salmon was a little under seasoned, and a bit overcooked. 🙄

จุดหมายแรกคือร้าน Oak City Fish & Chips เพื่อไปลองเมนูปลาแซลมอนทอดเสียบไม้ซึ่งได้เกียรติคุณเป็นแชมป์สื่อมวลชนฐานะเมนูใหม่ยอดเยี่ยมประจำปีนี้ ไปถึงคนยังไม่เยอะมาก เลยไม่ต้องรอนาน แต่ชิมแล้วอดผิดหวังไม่ได้ 🙄 ปลาเค้าจืดๆไม่ค่อยมีรสชาติ แถมยังทอดซะสุกเกิน 😐 ไม่เห็นจะอร่อยตามคำร่ำลือ

Next stop was the Dill Pickle Pizza from Rudy’s. We didn’t have high hopes for this one, but it actually turned out to be one of the best dishes we had that day! 🥰

เมนูต่อไปคือพิซซ่าหน้าแตงกวาดองจากร้าน Rudy’s อันนี้จริงๆแล้วตอนดูรูปก็ไม่ได้ประทับใจแค่อยากไปลองดูเฉยๆ ไม่ได้คิดอะไรมาก แต่ชิมแล้วปรากฎว่าอร่อยเกินความคาดหมาย 🥰

Made an unscheduled stop at Pappy’s for their old fashioned root beer soda pop, served in a tin cup (that we fully intended to bring back for later use at home, but unfortunately it didn’t make its way back with us somehow 😆).

คุณสามีเกิดกระหายน้ำเลยต้องแวะซื้อรูทเบียร์จากร้าน Pappy’s ที่เสิร์ฟมาในถ้วยสังกะสีอย่างหรู (ซึ่งกะจะเอากลับมาใช้ที่บ้านแต่ปรากฎว่าแกไปลืมตั้งไว้ในงานที่ไหนไม่ทราบ 😆)

Then, on to my most anticipated dish of the day – the DoriEsquites, from Douglas Farms. This is mexican street corn, served with crushed Doritos in a Doritos bag! All I have to say is, it certainly did not disappoint. 😉

จากนั้นเราไปชิมเมนู DoriEsquites จากร้าน Douglas Farms ซึ่งเป็นข้าวโพดคลุกเนยสไตล์เม็กซิกันที่เค้าโรยหน้าด้วยข้าวโพดอบกรอบยี่ห้อ Doritos แถมยังเสิร์ฟมาในถุง Doritos ให้เห็นกันชัดๆ อันนี้เป็นอันที่อยากลองที่สุดในรายการก่อนมา ลองแล้วก็ต้องบอกว่าไม่ผิดหวังจริงๆ 😉

This one, we were originally going to skip, but then overheard a guy at the ticket line raving about how good the rattlesnake sausage was. So, we decided we had to check it out after all. 😆 But, when we got there, we found out they only had it in the form of a corn dog, which happens to be one of my least favorite food items… 🙄 So, I didn’t want to get it. BUT, then we spotted the fried bologna sandwich on their menu, and figured we’d give that a try instead, which turned out to be a great choice! 😛

ร้านต่อมาอันนี้คือจริงๆแล้วไม่ได้ตั้งใจจะไปกัน แต่ตอนไปเข้าแถวซื้อตั๋วแอบไปได้ยินพี่ผู้ชายข้างหลังคุยให้เพื่อนฟังว่าไส้กรอกงูหางกระดิ่งที่ร้านนี้อร่อยมาก เลยเปลี่ยนใจอยากจะไปลองขึ้นมา 😆 แต่ปรากฎว่าไปถึงเค้าไม่มีไส้กรอกเปล่าๆ มีแต่แบบชุบแป้งทอด ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในจำนวนท๊อปเทนอาหารสุดเกลียด 🙄 ก็เลยไม่เอาดีกว่า แต่เผอิญไปเห็นว่าเค้ามีแซนด์วิชโบโลญญาทอด ซึ่งแอบอยากลองมาได้ระยะหนึ่งพอดี เลยได้สั่งมาชิมกันดู อร่อยใช้ได้ไม่เลวทีเดียว 😛

We spent almost half an hour, walking in circles trying to find my next stop – Hickory Tree Turkey BBQ. 😵‍💫 We finally found it after spending a lot of effort. The original plan was to try their Thanksgiving Stuffed Turkey Leg, but when we found out it was $30 a pop 😓, we backed out and got a regular Hickory Smoked Giant Turkey Leg (at $17 price tag) instead 🙄. And since we were running super low on time, we got it to go, to share with our fur babies at home. 😻

เมนูต่อมาเดินวนไปมาตามหากันอยู่เกือบครึ่งชั่วโมงด้วยความยากลำบากกว่าจะเจอ 😵‍💫 ร้าน Hickory Tree Turkey BBQ เค้าโฆษณาไว้ว่ามีขาไก่งวงยัดไส้สไตล์ Thanksgiving เตรียมนำเสนอ แต่พอไปถึงเห็นราคาสามสิบเหรียญเลยจอด 😓 ต้องเปลี่ยนไปสั่งเป็นขาไก่งวงยักษ์รมควันธรรมดาแทน (ซึ่งราคาย่อมเยาว์กว่ามากอยู่ที่ 17 เหรียญเท่านั้น 🙄) ถึงตอนนั้นใกล้หมดเวลา เลยต้องสั่งห่อกลับมากินกับน้องแมวที่บ้านแทน 😻

Managed to stop by for a banana pudding and My Mom’s Magic Punch at OMG! Banana Pudding along the way. (This punch is very sweet and makes a great mixer!)

ระหว่างทางยังอุตส่าห์ได้แวะร้าน OMG! Banana Pudding ซื้อ banana pudding กับน้ำผลไม้รวมของเค้า (ซึ่งอร่อยจริงแต่หวานมากกกก แต่เอามาผสมน้ำโซดากินกำลังพอดี)

And, last but not least, a yummie Mini-Blueberry Pie for dessert, from Original Minneapple Pie – which was the perfect ending for our lunch escapade today! 🥰

เมนูสุดท้ายตบรอบด้วยของหวานเป็นบลูเบอร์รี่พายขนาดจิ๋วจากร้าน Original Minneapple Pie ซึ่งเสิร์ฟมากับไอศครีมวานิลลาหนึ่งก้อน รสชาติกลมกล่อมกำลังพอดีไม่หวานจนเลี่ยน 🥰

We returned to the ticket booth to get our money back, with almost 20 minutes to spare! 😎

กลับไปช่องขายตั๋วก่อนหมดเวลาถึงยี่สิบนาทีด้วยกัน ได้ตังค์ยี่สิบเหรียญคืนมาใส่กระเป๋าด้วยความภาคภูมิใจ 😎

And we ended up with 2 very happy 😻 little kitties when we came home with with our little giant souvenir from the fair! 😂

กลับมาถึงบ้านน้องแมวได้ของฝากดีใจกันใหญ่ 😻 ส่วนคนก็กินกันไปได้อีกหลายมื้อเช่นกัน 😂

NC State Fair 2021

North Carolina State Fair is back in full force this year after getting canceled last year due to COVID. 2020 was the first time in decades that the fair was canceled, ever since World War II. We went on a Monday evening after work. If you look closely, you could see signs that times were largely still quite abnormal… They had a clear bag policy, where you could either carry see-through bags of any size, or regular bags up to a certain size. Some people still had their masks on. But for the most part, it felt almost like lives were finally back to the good old days.

งาน State Fair ประจำปี ของรัฐกลับมาเปิดให้เที่ยวชมกันได้อีกครั้งในปีนี้ หลังจากที่ถูกยกเลิกไปเมื่อปีที่แล้วด้วยพิษโควิด ซึ่งนับเป็นครั้งแรกที่งานนี้ถูกยกเลิกนับจากช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่สอง เราตั้งใจไปกันคืนวันจันทร์หลังเลิกงานเพราะหวังกันว่าคนจะได้ไม่เยอะ บรรยากาศยังครึกครื้นเหมือนเดิม ดูเผินๆเหมือนกับว่าสถานการณ์จะกลับมาเป็นปรกติ 100 เปอร์เซ็นต์แล้ว แต่ถ้าดูให้ดีจะเห็นว่ามีบางคนยังใส่หน้ากากอนามัยกันอยู่ประปราย อีกอย่างคือปีนี้เค้ามีกฎความปลอดภัยข้อใหม่ คืออนุญาติให้ถือกระเป๋าใบเล็กๆเข้ามาได้เท่านั้น ถ้าอยากถือใบใหญ่เค้าบังคับว่าต้องเป็นกระเป๋าพลาสติกใสที่มองทะลุเห็นของข้างในได้เท่านั้น

There was a good crowd out, even though it was a weekday night. But it was still a lot better than those weekend nights we used to come in the past.

ถึงจะเป็นวันจันทร์แต่คนก็เยอะอยู่พอสมควร แต่ก็ยังไม่ถล่มทลายเหมือนสมัยที่เคยมากันช่วงสุดสัปดาห์

As usual, we came prepared with a list of fair foods we wanted to try readily marked on the map. Starting off with a lobster pop from Oak City Fish and Chips. It didn’t look like much… The lobster tail was tiny… 😐 But one bite in and we totally understood what the fuss was all about. 😆 Not only was the lobster perfectly seasoned, it was also perfectly cooked. This was undeniably the best dish we had there that night. We would have gone back for another if it wasn’t $25 a pop! 😬

เราเตรียมตัวมาอย่างเพียบพร้อม มีแผนที่ติดมาด้วย พร้อมมาร์คตำแหน่งที่ตั้งของรายการอาหารที่อยากลองกันมาเสร็จสรรพ เริ่มกันด้วยล๊อบสเตอร์ทอดเสียบไม้จากร้าน Oak City Fish and Chips ตอนไปรับอาหารมาดูหน้าตาแล้วเซ็งมาก หางล๊อบสเตอร์อันนิดเดียวมาแบบโทนๆไม่มีอะไรให้แกล้มเลย 😐 กัดไปคำแรกถึงได้เข้าใจว่าทำไมคนเค้าถึงติดใจกันนักหนา 😆 ของเค้าปรุงรสไว้พอเหมาะพอดี แถมทอดได้สุกกำลังกิน กรอบนอกนุ่มใน ถ้าไม่ติดว่าเค้าขายไม้ละ 25 เหรียญละก้อ เราคงกลับไปซื้อเพิ่มอีกหลายไม้ 😬

The lobster roll from Lobster Dogs was, again, tiny for the $20 price tag. The only saving grace was that it was packed full of sweet lobster meat. It didn’t blow us away, but there wasn’t really much that could go wrong with buttered lobster in a bun! 🙄

จากนั้นเราไปต่อกันที่ร้าน Lobster Dogs แซนด์วิชล๊อบสเตอร์ของที่นี่ราคา 20 เหรียญ และขนาดกะทัดรัดไม่ต่างไปจากร้านที่แล้ว ยังดีที่ว่าเค้าอัดเนื้อล๊อบสเตอร์หวานๆมาให้แบบเต็มๆ รสชาติก็ใช้ได้อยู่ แต่ไม่ค่อยจะสมราคาซักเท่าไหร่ 🙄

Dusk was beginning to set by then, and the whole scene was so pretty in the early evening lights. We decided to head for the State Fair Flyer that took us all the way to the other side of the fair. It felt a lot higher up when you were actually sitting on the chair lift, but fortunately the 360 degree birds eye view from up there was enough to keep us occupied the entire way.

ถึงช่วงนั้นพระอาทิตย์เริ่มตก ฟ้าสีสวยกำลังโรแมนติกพอดี เลยได้โอกาสไปขึ้นกระเช้าชมวิว ดูจากข้างล่างก็ไม่สูงเท่าไหร่ แต่ขึ้นไปนั่งบนนั้นแล้วอดรู้สึกเสียวไส้เล็กน้อยไม่ได้ ดีที่มีวิวคอยให้ชมซะเพลินไม่ทันได้หวิวก็ถึงอีกฝั่งซะแล้ว

A very cool & unique show by Cast in Bronze, described on the fair’s web site as “the only musical act of its kind in the world”.

การแสดงดนตรีชุด Cast in Bronze ซึ่งใช้ระฆังทองเหลืองจำนวน 35 ใบมาบรรเลงเป็นเพลงเพราะๆให้ฟังกัน เค้าโฆษณาไว้ว่า “ดนตรีแบบนี้มีให้ชมที่นี่แห่งเดียวในโลก”

Beautiful flowers and creative arrangement displays of all kinds. I was particularly impressed with this giant Elephant Ear leaf that was about half my size; I had to get a picture with it! 😆

ดอกไม้นานาพรรณที่ผู้คนนำมาเข้าประกวดกันในปีนี้ ทั้งที่ตัดมาเป็นดอกเดี่ยวๆ และที่จัดมาเป็นแจกัน รวมทั้งแบบตากแห้งที่นำมาจัดเป็นพวงหรีดเก๋ไก๋ แต่ที่ถูกใจเราที่สุดเป็นจะไม่พ้นใบบอนยักษ์ใบนี้ ถ่ายรูปด้วยแล้วตัวเหมือนจะดูเล็กลงไปถนัดตา 😆

Time to fuel up, starting with a cup of Mexican street corn from Esquites, atomic tots from Chef’s D’Lites, and freshly fried pork rinds from Ragin’ Cajun.

ไปเติมพลังกันด้วยข้าวโพดคลุกเนยสไตล์เม็กซิกันจากร้าน Esquites มันฝรั่งทอดเผ็ดสะใจจากร้าน Chef’s D’Lites และแคปหมูร้อนๆทอดสดๆตามสั่งจากร้าน Ragin’ Cajun

Dorton Arena featured Got to be NC Agriculture, where different booths display farm products made right here in NC.

ที่สนามกีฬา Dorton เค้ามีจัดงานแสดงสินค้าทางการเกษตรจากฟาร์มต่างๆทั่วรัฐ

From there, we walked back out in the cold in search for cool rides for Joel & his mom.

พออิ่มท้องก็ได้เวลาไปเดินย่อยเล็งหาเครื่องเล่นหน้าตาดีให้คุณสามีกะคุณแม่

They ended up riding Hydro Shock, Alien Abduction, Pirate Ship, Genesis, Mighty Mouse Coaster, and Mega Drop – needless to say that Joel got his money’s worth from the unlimited ride wristband purchase! 😆

สรุปว่าคืนนั้นลองไปหลายเจ้า ตั้งแต่ Hydro Shock, Alien Abduction, Pirate Ship, Genesis, Mighty Mouse Coaster และ Mega Drop เรียกว่าตั๋วแบบไม่จำกัดที่ซื้อมานั้นได้ใช้จนเกินคุ้มจริงๆ 😆

I got hungry and had to sneak in another Polish sausage hot dog! 😋

Last but not least, we rode the State Fair SkyGazer, a 155′ Ferris Wheel where you need a special ticket to ride. We barely made it there before they closed down. Good thing we had tickets ready when we got there because the ticket booth was already closed! 😅 It was the perfect ending to a beautiful night out in town. 😍

เก็บไฮไลท์ไว้เป็นรายการสุดท้ายคือชิงช้าสวรรค์ขนาด 155 ฟุตอันนี้ที่เค้าตั้งชื่อซะเก๋ไก๋ไว้ว่า State Fair SkyGazer มัวแต่โอ้เอ้ไปมาเกือบไปถึงไม่ทันก่อนเค้าปิด ดีที่ซื้อตั๋วไว้เรียบร้อยแล้วเค้าถึงให้ขึ้น 😅 สรุปว่าได้ชมวิวสวยจากมุมสูงก่อนเค้าดับไฟพอดิบพอดี 😍

That night, we walked almost 5 miles at the fair. 😳 At least I didn’t have to feel that bad eating all those greasy fried foods! 😛

คืนนั้นเดินกันไปรวมแล้วประมาณ 5 ไมล์หรือประมาณ 8 กิโล 😳 หวังว่าจะได้ช่วยย่อยของทอดๆมันๆที่ซัดกันไปได้บ้างไม่มากก็น้อย 😛

Lunch at NC State Fair 2019

This past Monday, Joel and I decided to have a mini midday adventure with a long lunch date at the North Carolina State Fair. We found out that they had this thing called the Weekday Lunch Pass Program. Here is how it works. You need to pay $10 cash per person for a ticket to get in, after 11:30 am. As long as you return the pass by 1:30 pm, you’ll get your $10 back. So, we decided to give it a try! 🤔

เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ผ่านมาเราแอบไปกินข้าวกลางวันกันที่งาน State Fair ประจำปี ของรัฐ North Carolina ปรกติไปกันทุกปี ปีนี้กะว่าจะไม่ไปแล้ว เพราะไปทีไรก็เดิมๆทุกที แถมคนเยอะมาก แต่เผอิญคุณสามีไปได้ยินมาว่าเค้ามีโปรแกรมพิเศษสำหรับมื้อกลางวัน กฎมีอยู่ว่าคุณจะต้องจ่ายเงินสด 10 เหรียญเพื่อซื้อบัตรผ่านประตู ซื้อได้ตั้งแต่เวลา 11:30 น. เป็นต้นไป หากเอาบัตรมาคืนภายในเวลา 13:30 น. ก็จะได้เงินสด 10 เหรียญคืนมา เราเลยนึกสนุกไปลองกันดู 😆

I was running a little late and didn’t get to Joel’s office to pick him up until 11:35 am. By the time we found a parking spot, which was about 10 minute walk from the fair, it was already past noon! 😣 The crowd was a lot bigger than we anticipated. Fortunately, there was no line at the ticket counter, so we were able to pretty much just walk right in.

นัดกันว่าจะไปรับคุณสามีที่ทำงานก่อนเวลา แต่เกิดงานยุ่ง ไปถึงจริงๆเลยสิบเอ็ดโมงครึ่งแล้ว กว่าจะวนหาที่จอดรถได้ (หาที่จอดฟรี เพราะงกไม่ยอมเสียตังค์ 😂) กว่าจะเดินไปถึงประตูทางเข้าก็เลยเที่ยง ดีที่ว่าไม่มีคนต่อแถวซื้อตั๋วเลยไม่ต้องรอนาน ไปถึงข้างในคนเยอะกว่าที่คิด แต่ก็ยังนับว่าน้อยถ้าเทียบกับปรกติที่เคยมากันตอนเย็นๆ

We had located the food items we had our hearts set on beforehand and had them readily marked on the map. We first headed for The Sloppy Pig at Bubba’s Bacon. This is a sloppy Joe on Texas Toast topped with cheese sauce and bacon. We liked it ok. I felt that it would taste better if it were warmer. The next one was a dessert, The Pineapple Dole Whip Float from Tropical Delights. This was good and refreshing but nothing to write home about, in my opinion. We then spent 15 minutes trying to find Woody’s Wing Wagon, so that we could try their Korean BBQ Pork Belly Eggroll. Unfortunately, we never located it and finally just gave up. 😔

ก่อนมาเราเตรียมตัวมาอย่างเพียบพร้อม มีแผนที่ติดมาด้วย พร้อมมาร์คตำแหน่งที่ตั้งของรายการอาหารที่อยากลองกันมาเสร็จสรรพ จุดหมายแรกคือ The Sloppy Pig จากร้าน Bubba’s Bacon จานนี้เค้าเอาขนมปังชิ้นหนาสไตล์เท็กซัสรองจาน แล้วราดด้วยซ๊อสเนื้อ ตามด้วยซ๊อสชีส แล้วโรยหน้าด้วยเบคอน รสชาติโอเคใช้ได้ ติว่ามันไม่ร้อนเลยซักนิด ถ้าเสิร์ฟมาร้อนๆน่าจะอร่อยกว่านี้ จากนั้นเราตามติดด้วยของหวานคือ The Pineapple Dole Whip Float จากร้าน Tropical Delights เป็นไอศครีมสัปปะรดปั่น เสิร์ฟมากับน้ำสัปปะรดสดๆก้นแก้ว อันนี้ได้ยินมาว่าอร่อยนักหนา แต่ลองแล้วก็งั้นๆ หวานไปหน่อย แถมรสชาติปะแล่มๆเล็กน้อย ไม่แน่ใจว่าใช้อะไรแทนน้ำตาล หลังจากนั้นเราไปตามล่าหาร้านที่ชื่อว่า Woody’s Wing Wagon เพราะอยากจะลองปอเปี๊ยะทอดไส้หมูสามชั้นสไตล์เกาหลีของเค้า ซึ่งหน้าตาดูดีมากจากในรูป แต่หายังไงก็หาไม่เจอ สรุปเลยอด 😔

Joel also managed to squeeze in 3 different rides at Hydro Shock, Alien Abduction, and Khaos! Being a single rider paid off, since he could just breeze through the line in no time!

คุณสามีอุตส่าห์ไปขึ้นเครื่องเล่นได้สามเครื่อง Hydro Shock, Alien Abduction, และ Khaos ดีว่าขึ้นไปเล่นคนเดียว เลยได้แซงหน้าคนอื่นๆที่รอเล่นด้วยกันอยู่

It was already past 1:10 pm by the time Joel was done with his last ride. We thought we had enough time to squeeze in The Crack-n-Cheese Stuff Turkey Leg from Hickory Tree BBQ on the way out. There was only a few people in line when we got there, and it was really close to the exit, where we had to return our passes, so we decided to go for it and had our fingers crossed. As soon as we had our food in hand, we raced for the exit, forgetting to even snap a picture of the yummie looking dish! 😰 We made it to the ticket counter at exactly 1:29 pm, according to the clock on our phones, to find that they had already put the ‘CLOSED’ sign up at the Lunch Pass line. 😓 Joel knocked on the glass and was able to get the lady to give us back our money any way! Whew! 😅

กว่าคุณสามีจะเสร็จจากเครื่องเล่นอันสุดท้าย เวลาก็ปาเข้าไปตั้งเกือบบ่ายโมงสิบห้าแล้ว ยังเหลือของกินที่อยากลองอยู่อีกที่ คือ The Crack-n-Cheese Stuff Turkey Leg จากร้าน Hickory Tree BBQ ซึ่งดูแล้วว่าอยู่ใกล้ประตูทางออกพอดี ไปถึงมีคนต่อแถวอยู่ไม่กี่คน เลยคิดว่าน่าจะโอเค รอไปรอมา บ่ายโมงยี่สิบห้าแล้วยังไม่ได้อาหารตามที่สั่ง 😰 ชักจะเริ่มเหงื่อตกกันเล็กน้อย พอได้อาหารมาปุ๊บเราก็คว้าแล้ววิ่งเลย รูปเริบไม่ทันได้ถ่าย ไปถึงเคาน์เตอร์ที่แลกบัตรคืน คุณป้าแกขึ้นป้าย “ปิด” แล้วเรียบร้อย 😓 เช็คนาฬิกาในโทรศัพท์แค่ 13:29 น. เลยเคาะหน้าต่างเรียกป้า แกอุตส่าห์ยอมเปิดมาเอาตังค์คืนให้ สรุปภารกิจเสร็จสมบูรณ์ตามเป้าหมาย แต่ได้แบบเฉียดฉิวเล็กน้อย 😅
